From Yesterday

by Christie   Dec 23, 2006

From yesterday she chooses,
What she wants to hear,
Believing that there are no lies,
Yet nothings ever clear.

From yesterday she finds it,
Hard to face today,
Crying from his untold silence,
Corrospondence if she may.

From yesterday she realised,
That she is so confused,
No matter how hard she tries,
It seems she'll only lose.

On yesterday, she thought she'd known,
Exactly what to do,
Not realising that what hurts the most,
Is the cold and lonely truth.

Full of despair this poem captures exactly what it was meant to do. Stunning writing there, I was taken in by those words.
