Where Were You?

Can't you see what you're doing to me?
Why do you keep breaking my heart
Each time I get you out of my mind
You come back and tear me apart

You keep telling me you miss me
And you wish we were more in touch
That you think about me all the time
And you love me very much

But mom? How can that ever be true?
When you were the one who sent me away
And all those years you never called
When I waited by the phone each day

Dad and Lynn have took care of me
Even when times were very hard
Where were you when I needed a mom?
I never got birthday or christmas cards

So don't try coming back into my life
Cos I can't deal with all the pain
Time has opened a gap between us
Things can't ever be the same ©

    I know how u feel mine is not wid my mother it wid da rest of my family (my nan grandad uncles and aunties there not very nice people) i no it hurts but some times it is da best 4 u to cut ties coz being wid dem is more painful. b4 me uncle died he told me that family may not be your blood and kin they are the people u love wid all ur heart and would even die 4.
