Why did you do it
We were best friends
We promised we'd stick
Together till the end

Then because of one little fight
Everything had to change
We pretend we don't know each other
Do you even remember my name?

Do you remember the times that we
Stayed up all night getting our hair in curls
The time we watched the movies
And were just silly little girls

Do you remember when we
Would beg for a sleepover
I guess the times have changed
Because this friendship is over

Remember the times we shared
We promised we'd be friends forever
I guess things have changed
Do you even remember?

    I can relate to this ALOT. i had a fight with one of my best friends this year, and i had been best friends with her for like 5 years. and then after one stupid retarded fight, it just sort of changed forever. i feel your pain and im sorry i know how heartbreaking it is to lose a best friend.

    This was a wonderful poem. I know exactly how you feel. I used to have this one close friend who I shared a lot of things with, but she ended up backstabbing me and she started acting like a total jerk until I got to the point where I had to tell her to stay away from me and my friends, I wrote some poems about it if you want to read them. It is still hard when you lose them though, because the memory of how things once were stays. Beautiful piece.
