Forever is a long time,
at least that's what I hear.
It's always such a complex thing,
it's never really clear.
When people say forever,
let's hope that it stands true.
"I love you's" aren't so rare anymore,
but it's true I hope for you.
If forever never comes,
I'll proudly say it too.
When you say it to me,
I'll say "I'll forever love you."
But if forever ends tomorrow,
will you ever know?
That for you I truly loved,
but my feelings never showed?
So if forever ends,
be sure love's implanted in you heart.
Because if people are in doubt,
forever will never start.
