To Be Loved

I never knew what love felt like.
I never thought I'd find a true love.
Live a life of pain, sorrow..misery.
That's all my life would amount to.
Until that one moment when you talked to me.
You told me I shouldn't be so sad.
But, I saw no point in trying to pretend 'happiness'
Only.. This time there was something different.
a reason.
I found a reason to smile for once.
I felt like someone really cared about how I feel.
There was something different about you.
Something much different from the rest.
You took an interest in me.
Showed me what it's like to feel loved.
to feel special.
to feel wanted.
You gave me a whole new hope for life.
