Not Me

This is not me,
the way I portray,
the way i act,
every single day.
As if I'm happy,
and never sad.
Like nothing at all,
could ever be bad.
They tell me to act happy,
so no one will know.
The extent of my depression,
the sadness in my soul.
But in reality,
this is not me.
I wish everyone could see,
how I'm really meant to be.
