Whisper (the sacred vow)

by NeferNoir   Dec 24, 2006

The sun is dying,
I pray to death.
The hearse kept bleeding,
I can't stand again.
Fallen.
Spent.

I hold on to thorns,
immobilizing lies.
When the moon is black,
I kill my eyes.
Torn.
Defeated.

Darkness is falling,
the candle is dead.
I suffered too soon,
touniquet has fade.
Gone.
Sacrificed.

Vengeance without a soul,
I beg to die.
Smile for the last time,
the last goodnight.
Ignored.
Missing.

The sword pierces me to kill you,
look in the eyes of the grim reaper.
Don't scream my name.
Whisper.

The darkness in this is overwhelming, really grips the reader from start to finish.
I found this to have so much beauty and elegance..incredibly dark, yes. But a beautiful piece of writing nontheless.
