Torn

Torn between two people
No idea of how to choose
Cos no matter what the outcome
In a way I'm going to lose

On one side is my mother
She wants me to move to her
Halfway back across the world
To sunny South Africa

But then I have my soul mate
Who loves me with all his heart
He has always been there for me
Right from the very start

For the past few years without her
She just didn't want to know
She remarried and had more kids
I'd never felt so low

But through it all, I had Marcus
He showered me with love
He knew how to make it better
He was my angel from above

But now she wants to make it up
And I don't know what to do
I love them both so now I'm torn
And I don't know how to choose... ©

    WOW, this is a really emotional poem, i really like it cuz it really gets to me.. i know what u mean, not exactly the same situation ,but i know where ur comming from and i dont think i could of ever written about it the way u did =] keep it up!

    When choosing your future, look within your heart and the answer will come. I know for you it did. Although, our lives may be riddled with difficult decisions, always look to your heart and soul for the answers, because they will lead you on the right path, dear friend.

    HEY GOOD JOB.. i REALLY LIKED IT, it really does relate to real life especially between teenagers too... it also had a lot of emotion.. I really liked it .. again lol

    Good job! Very sweet yet very sad. I hate tough situations like this...ones where you feel you lose and win all at the same time, because the losing is easier, but the winning still sucks! lol Does this make sense!???!
