Omg. What an amazing poem. I have read that book and so understand where you got the idea, yet the way you wrote this was wonderful. The flow was excellent and you described everything really well. Very nicely done, I enjoyed this poem. 5/5

Ohhh I have tears in my eyes...
This was beautifully written, very intense and the emotions were clear to see.
I thought it flowed well, you did a great job at relaying the story and the ending was hard hitting but perfect.

Why didn't the first stanza follow the same rhyme pattern as the rest of the poem?

'I don't want you fighting for me
I don't want you to live just to keep me alive
Can't I just get up and walk around like normal?
Maybe I'll learn how to grow and strive'
    ^That seemed kinda forced

It was really sad and heartbreaking, but I didn't like the flow at all. It was immediately thrown off because the first stanza didn't match the rest of your poem. But it was sad and I glad this was based off a book and not your actual life.

That is a great poem, I've not read the book but what you've written here has a story beautifully laid out and described. I'm not sure if the book could compare for me. great one

Wow this was stunning..the whole thing was beautifully written but the way you ended it was perfect. My fav lines were: Because you died for me on that fateful day
And gave me the gift of life
    That was perfect wording..great job, definitely a 5/5 :)
