This poem is very sad, heartfelt, emotional, I love it!

Ohhh I have tears in my eyes...
This was beautifully written, very intense and the emotions were clear to see.
I thought it flowed well, you did a great job at relaying the story and the ending was hard hitting but perfect.

This is a really good poem i can feel everything that you are saying and i have never read that book but now i want to lol great write!

Why didn't the first stanza follow the same rhyme pattern as the rest of the poem?

'I don't want you fighting for me
I don't want you to live just to keep me alive
Can't I just get up and walk around like normal?
Maybe I'll learn how to grow and strive'
^That seemed kinda forced

It was really sad and heartbreaking, but I didn't like the flow at all. It was immediately thrown off because the first stanza didn't match the rest of your poem. But it was sad and I glad this was based off a book and not your actual life.

This was so sad and totally relate to the book, which is also one of my fave books of all time =)
