Christmas

We all know about the presents
But do you know the true meaning
Have you any idea what it's really about
Do you know the real reason

Do you know why we celebrate
Do you know why we pray
Do you know what Christmas really is
And why we cherish this one day

Many people forget the meaning
And all they want are the perks
Some people forget the reason
And they never even learn

On this day so long ago
Jesus was born and raised
He is the reason we're alive now
And we're the reason they ended his days

The tree is standing tall
And the decorations are hung up
But what you don't remember
Is that Jesus was born for us
