Words that stab you in the heart
They're the words of anger
As a family gets torn apart
Almost ever night they fight
Over something that's barely there
Screaming ugly words
Tugging at their own hair
Every time it happens
The only one who ever hears
Is sitting in her room
Trying to fight the tears
Her brother and mom are yelling
Dad leaves in his car
Its horrible nights like this
that leaves a burning scar
Whenever they start to yell
Every day or every night
She tries to stop them
But it will never be alright
