Last Day

I might not know what its like to be in love, but I do know what its like to love somebody!
I was a girl with a rough life, who just didn't get many things right..
Till one day I gave a boy a chance, I believed so much that it would last...
days went by and smiles grew big, till one day I decided to fib..
It all went down hill from there, but some how we both still cared..
we never drifted apart but one day he told me to remember him in my heart..
My heart is his memory now, forever & always it shall...
a day spent together, oh how I would remember this forever..
The last time we spoke
the last time we kissed
even the last time we looked into each others eyes
the hours went by & then it came time for our goodbyes..
I tried so hard to keep my tears locked up inside..
But as soon as he left I couldn't help but give a sigh, and just cry..
I will never forget this boy's smile and how his eyes could take you miles..
This is what its like to love somebody; all you have to do is show you really care..
Then maybe one day you'll get your share..
Because what happened to me was no mistake, it was just fate
