Eternal Curse

by Crimson Moon   Dec 24, 2006

What I've become?...I'm just a shadow... a corpse without feelings...
A ghost cursed to haunt you... my life has no meanings-
Since that bittersweet night... when thou cast a spell on me...
You took my mourning soul... and tenderly you killed me...
With thy deep look you slowly bewitched me...

But when midnight came... you said "I have to leave...
I'm sorry... I don't love you... only for her I live"

The mistress Moon and that ancient tree...
Only they know how I cried
My sorrow was deep- deep as the sea
And all my hopes... they died...

What we've become...we're just dust...
My body still yearns for thy gentle touch...
My eyes search your look with a poisonous lust
But you... you forsook me in this land of death
Oh, how for thy love an ocean I wept!

You made me your slave, your lifeless servant... for eternity...
Will I ever feel your love-my everlasting serenity?

This poem expresses sweet tragedy perfectly... A fairytale story with a sorrowful ending.. Very good intepretation of tragic romance... :)
