Light will Overcome us all

Light Will Overcome Us All

Have you ever stared deep enough to see the pain in a young girl’s eyes,
Or studied carefully the sounds of her cries.
If you see it through her eyes there are many twist and turns,
For her life is like and inferno and everything burns.
It seems sad that the only friend that she has is a small blade that she keeps,
For her life is bad and she cuts, and she weeps.
How can we help this girl’s sorrow to end,
And how can we help her heart blend.
We can open up her sight,
And help her see the light.
And who knows, maybe this frightful girl,
Will light up, and shine just like a pearl.
