A new year is just a page away,
that doesn't mean to let memories fade day by day.
remembering is the best part of the year,
moments of laughter, and a few simple tears.
times in life when you were so cool,
looking back you realize you were such a fool.
teachers taught us well,
made sure we were in our sears before the bell,
somehow you always find a friend,
someone who always understands.
who does little things to show they care,
who's "the best" and no one else can compare.
so are we ready for a new year?
after all next year is very near...
