When times are hard

My sister fell in love at such a young age
She fell pregnant at 13 and then got betrayed
She gets money from him but he still has the last laugh
Cause she a frightened teenage mother trying to forget about her past

For years has gone she now just seventeen
Shes got twins on the way and was with the man of her dreams
But they broke up about a month ago... its seemed like yesterday
He left her for another woman and now she cries her nights away

3 more years go by and now shes twenty-one
And shes ready to get married shes as beautiful as a swan
They read out there vows ending in "i love you"
You feel the love in the as the they finally say I do

Times were tough but she flew through it a bird
But the call I received... I couldnt believe what I heard
I lost my sister and her husband someone crossed over the white line
