Time on the Drawing Board

by Thomas   Dec 25, 2006

Im looking all around.

What is all this?

It seems profound,

something I can\'t dismiss.

So I relieve the earth of my weights;

Sitting back,

A chair's comfort & my mind evaporates.

Recalling the days of past:

Another joke,

Another hope.

Yesterdays\' smiles seem so far away now.

As many traveled miles down a long, worn road.

Wake up now.

Wake and take, carry life\'s load

Back to the senses and back to reality -it\'s hard to grasp how long,

How long ago it was, how strong I was.

The reality doesnt change,

I know it seems strange,

To stay with the drawing board

So now I pray to the Lord...

To erase the old drawing pad,

Forget all that I had,

All that is in the past... It wont change

No matter how derranged

Time will not rearrange
