You stained it

by UnhealthyExpectations   Dec 25, 2006

I sit alone in my corner
I should be used to it now
Its becoming normal
I cry out my eyes
I'm surprised theres any tears left
I draw the blade across my skin
I'm surprised i can still feel it
I let the blood run into the carpet
But its ok
Its stained forever already
Stained with the hurt you've forced on me
Stained with the pain you've given me
Stained with whats left of what i thought was a perfect love

This was one of the beautifulist poems i've ever read ..... there's so much feeling in every word, I honestly almost cried .... also i couldn't help but to deeply relate to this poem, thats a really tough place to be and an even tougher place to get out of! GOOD work, 5/5.

I really liked the last line, because it said "what I thought". It tells all of us that nothing's ever completely real, true or perfect, no matter how we think. I really liked this.
