I'm lonely now you're gone away
Many tears I've shed
Happy thoughts remind me
Of the life we led
I dreamed last night
That you were here,
That you'd come back to stay
But I awoke so all alone,
And cried my dreams away
It's not been long we parted,
But it's still too long for me
Time is still, it's meaningless
Til you're back here with me
I think of how I love you
And hope I can convey
Across the miles of emptiness,
I love you more each day.
