It happened too quickly
I promise I didnâ??t mean for it to happen
It just came out of nowhere.
I guess I wasn't quick enough
Damn

I thought I was good at this
It pains me to hear your voice
It makes my soul ache
What have I done?
Nothing is right anymore
But it's not wrong either
Where did I go wrong?

Look what I've done
I hope you forgive me
I know I can't forgive me
Not yet
Your voice
Brings tears to my eyes
Thoughts of you, thoughts of me
Who did I hurt more here?

It happened too quickly!
I say that
And yet
I'm not sure
If I had another chance
If I knew what was coming
Would it all happen just the same?
More than likely
But I still say
I didn't mean for it to happen

    Ooh i like this one. =)
    i don't usually go for free verse, but this one still somehow kept me reading. u had an inconsistent flow, yet it worked for the poem. i think also the fact that i still have no idea what the true meaning to the poem was, makes it even more thought-provoking. there was something about it tho that makes it not quite a 5/5.. but i can't put my finger on it.

    but gratz!
