Little White dress

by SomeonesAngel   Dec 26, 2006

Under the archway,
Rain fell down,
Waiting for hours,
Ill start to drown.

Waiting for you I'm at the flat,
On the Vauxhalls bonnet I sat,
Like last year do you remember?

Staring up at the window,
Where just last week we danced,
Held each other closely,
Both of us entranced.

No lights are on,
I guess you're gone.
Off out somewhere...by yourself?.

Pacing the pavement,
Looking around,
Hearing your voice,
In every footstep, every sound.

In my little white dress
Eyeliner running, such a mess.
You never used to care.

Hiding behind the rosebush,
Playing hide and seek,
Brings back memories,
In the dirt ill weep.

Rest my head,
Feeling dead.
Why aren't you opening the door.

Curl up knees under my chin,
Weeping softly into my chest,
Knowing that I know you,
I must obviously be blessed?

Returned home?,
All alone?.
I didn't think so.

Why aren't you pleased to see me,
Who on earth is she?,
I knew you would, I knew it,
You forgot about me?.
