My Sleeping Beauty

by Bradley Peter   Dec 27, 2006

The sweet sweat seeping
Off your tender brow
Yet you lay there sleeping
As I just wonder how

How amazing you are
In your innocent bliss
Would it be too far
To give a secret kiss?

Your soft seeping skin
So golden and bare
Would a look be a sin
Not that I should dare

I yearn to watch you sleep
So naturally and calm
Your mind retreats so deep
Leaving you're beauty and charm

Oh...my...goodness. This is a lucky girl whoever you wrote this for! How cute! This was a wonderfully structured piece and I loved all the cute words you used to describe this girl. Absolutely loved it :) 5

Oh this is a beautiful poem, its so very sweet =)
your take on sleeping beauty is so much more heart warming than my unhappily ever after one lol!

Again each stanza had the perfect flow, the rhyme was just spot on and the choice of wording created such tender imagery =)
