The Passion Burns

by Bury.Me.Where.I.Fall   Dec 27, 2006

Feel the heat against your skin
Brush away with remnants of you
Feel you soul, ignite within.
Feel the burn, swallow you whole.

Your eyes burn out wards
Exploding in a puff of dust
Fetid with joy, I clench my fist
Watching with excitement, pain and lust

A screech of pain bursts my ears.
Your skin floats in the air
The sand around you disappears,
Immense heat scorches the floor.

Leaving a shadow of you
Burned upon the floor,
I thank the fire with great appreciation.
My lover, my lover, is no more.
