A ritual it has become
The events of each night
As darkness sets in
Yet my room is full of light

I'll wait for you tonight
To appear in my dreams
Your presence dissolving the pain

We'll have a candlenight dinner
With a chilled bottled of wine
Could be the beginning of a night
A romantic evening so divine

We'll then move to the sofa
And cuddle up so close
Gently pulling my chin up
With a sweet peck on my nose
