A Puzzled Heart

by Joseph Arellano   Dec 27, 2006

I was in the middle of a long journey.

A journey to find my soul-mate.

A soul-mate in order to conjugate.

To conjugate the parts to complete my journey.

I was just half human.

Every human needs the pieces for their heart.

Every heart has their puzzle parts.

The parts that make us human.

I traversed through stormy and cloudy nights.

Many nights I suffered deep wide oceans.

Many oceans of cascading emotions.

Finding emotions that will guide me through the night.

I searched far and wide for the puzzle pieces.

The pieces that are the key to my heart.

The heart that will stand apart.

Far apart it seemed, my heart and puzzle pieces.

Then one cold December second 2006, evening.

This evening my long journey came to a close.

A close to a puzzle with a sudden repose.

The repose my heart did yearn for came this evening.

A soul did appear, full of great and wise thought.

A thought of moving heaven and earth, to fill the puzzle of mine.

Of mine heart reshaped for all time.

A time of great joy, happiness, and loving thought.

I will cherish her for every lasting moment.

A moment that lasts forever.

The forever that always endeavors.

An endeavor that will never break at any given moment.

Hear my prayer our Father in Heaven.

Thank-you Father in Heaven for the love.

The love sent from above.

From above my prayers are answered, Amen Father in Heaven.
