Lost joy

by tri tran   Dec 27, 2006

Lost in dark vortexes,
Longing to feel the first sunlight,
A blazing flame that melts away joy,
Forever, sings without melodies.

An artery whispers like a mourning snake,
Leaves the cold nights to hum alone,
Bursting each golden tear-bubble,
Its crimson lights falls upon the lake.

A poet, in his lonesome galaxy,
Searching for a dancing queen,
Dreaming to hear his new heart beat,
Yearns to let go of yesterday's sad memories.

A mother wren, in her nest, unfolds her wings to protect her eggs,
Wishes to shine like the cyan color of joy.
