Holiday Passion

by Twisted Fate   Dec 27, 2006

Kailee you're the world to me,
And you're my shining light,
For you I'd die one thousand times,
Because you're worth the fight,

You're beauty gleams for all to see,
And no one can compare,
You really are quite perfect,
And like a goddess, oh so fair,

I want to be the only one,
Allowed to hold your hand,
Every day you live your life,
Beside you is where I'll stand,

Cause there isn't any other place,
I'd rather be than near,
Near enough to hold you close,
And dry your every tear,

For when life just really isn't fair,
And pain you must endure,
I'll stay beside your broken heart,
With love that's good and pure,

You'll never know how much I care,
Or how bright you make my day,
To express to you all that I feel,
There just isn't a way,

You give my stomach butterflies,
And make my heart feel light,
I'm never gunna let you go,
I'm holding on real tight,

Cause without you I'm nothing,
And I feel so incomplete,
But as long as you're by my side,
My problems I can beat,

So no matter what may happen,
Through time to you or me,
There's one who'll always love you,
And that single one, is me.

Hi...author here. Just wanted to note some stuff about this poem imparticular.
Coming near the x-mas season, I received a message from one of my best friends. He wanted to write his girlfriend a poem for the holiday, but told me he sucked at writing. He asked me if I could write one for him...so I did. He explained what he felt for her, and I worded it so it came out just right. After all, what are friends for? After I sent him the poem, he couldn't thank me enough and loved how it turned out.
