I will never escape

I saw it happen
but i couldn't stop it that day
in my mind it lives on in slow motion
and it just won't go away

forced to relive it day after day
never letting me forget
and reminding me of the pain

it has been so long
since the day that you left
but i will never escape the memory
until the day of my death
