We Try to Forget

We keep ourselves entertained,
throwing our hard earned money away, to keep ourselves from boredom and to forget...

Their faces glued to television,
drunk and drugged themselves up
to a point where life turns into such a dreamy state, that it is sureal

we go on with our lives licentiously, to try and desperately escape the hounds that prey on us, the very hounds that cause us despair

it wont disappear, we are in such pituful state that we'd rather be dreamingf than living, forgetting that something is gnawing at us
