Hope.

In this empty room,
I sit and ponder why?,
Why I am so angry?
And why I sometimes cry?

This world is full of pain,
Of bad things in the dark,
Of empty souls who lie and cheat,
And want to steal you life.

It could just be amazing,
You know its not a dream,
We all could be so happy,
And we all could be free.

But people always lie,
They cheat to get ahead,
It's how things always were,
And will be until the end.

I will always try,
To save a soul or two,
Not with faith or money,
But a simple smile to you.

    It's so true yet so sad but i loved how you ended the poem. A simple smile can go such a long way..
