Her little baby

by Angel~goddess   Dec 28, 2006

She stood there, a look of depression in her eyes.
She began to move foot after foot along the side-walk.
She remembered him then all his lies.
All alone, made into a mock.

Her eyes straight forward then onto a little child playing in the sand
She had little soft locks of golden hair
Her head turned and she began to stand
The girl began to stare.

All alone the world seemed to stop
She felt her stomach jump
She felt her stomach roll and drop
Her stomach one big lump

You see her now in a hospital gown holding a baby girl
Slowly stroking her head remembering how she had screwedup
Her teeth as white a pearls
Now the time had come to give her baby girl up

Tears fell from her eyes slowly hit the ground
a lump in her throught and a heavy heart
Depression all around
Her beautiful baby girl given a new start

Wow! Very powerful! Very good write and it was easy to get lost in it. That's what makes a good poem, I think. A lot of talent here! Keep it up! :)
