One..Two..Three Cuts

One for the numbness
The pain of life
Two for the fighting
And all this strife
Three for the one
Who made me like this
Four to hear her,
To feel her kiss
Five for loneliness,
Deep within
Six for doing this
For letting it win
Seven for people
Staring at me
Eight for never,
Making them see
Nine for this feeling
That never will end
Ten for lying to all
Who could mend

This circle it
will never end
Once its got you
You can't defend

    The structure of the poem of the poem is so very different and unique, it makes the poem worth reading. =]
    The flow was very good and your choice of wording was perfect.

    And you're right it is a never ending cycle and very hard to quit. I still find it hard to quit after three years. =[
