Divinity

Divinity

My eyes were hungry for color
So I decided to dine in a garden
Filled with purples, reds, yellows and greens
I feasted upon this vast array
After starving thru a winter of soul-less gray

A field of tulips with names like
"Flaming Parrots" and "Dark Secrets"
Were waving hello to the sky
Then turned their faces towards the sun
Their bulbous sleep underground done

I felt I was in the presence
Of Divinity
And wondered
"Could this same Beauty be inside of me?"
