Beauty & the beast

by mookoo   Dec 28, 2006

Beauty:
Expressive blue eyes drawing daggers to my scalp;
He is so beautiful in the moonlight, dear boy,
But his kiss so swift and merciless, I am drowning.
His scent is too much, and I cannot breathe,
What if we are found out? This could be a fatal error.
But no, what if we were to be betrayed? His lips,
The device of my demise. A kiss so monstrous
I never want it to end. For it to be so tragic,
When he is my only tragedy.
My heart is pumping. My blood is heavy in my temples
And the only focal point is the silver kiss of his love
Drawing straight across my throat, in a ripping
Tearing, mess of blood. I would tell you,
My sweet deathboy, that I love you, but you
Have spared me the agony, kissing me
Until the fog burns out my brain and I no
Longer can feel the convulsions brought
By your betraying tongue, and that blood
In my torn throat.

& the beast:
My hands are tracing her collarbone
And pushing her long, brown hair away.
I want to kiss her, push my hips into hers and
Touch the nape of her neck. I am feeling spontaneous
Dear beauty. So hold your breath and close your eyes.
You are in for the full battle in the wars of this world
Of love and life. I kiss her, the power surging
Through my fingertips as I hold it lightly against
The base of her neck, her pulse rushing through
My fingers. Her heart in my hands. How sweet.
Her dark eyes mirror the night, as we break.
I want this moment to be engraved
In the stairs to eternity. What if the world
Never stops turning, and we just get left behind, kissing
Behind this wall? I kiss her quick and fast, slicing small
Daggers across her throat beside her scraping fingernails
Trying to pry my fingers from the silver, sweet sickle.
She is choking, the blood coursing through her veins and gushing
down her throat. The parting fight is lost forever.
With one final kiss, bitter with torment at her neck,
I say goodnight sweet beauty.
