Love's Painted Sky

A night under the stars,
is like a dream come true,
especially when that night,
is spent side by side with you.

Many stories are shared,
and conversations go on,
as if we have known each other,
for a lifetime long.

Whenever I'm with you,
It's as if nothing can go wrong,
however my heart starts beating faster,
knowing this perfect night is almost gone.

There are a few moments of silence,
as we both stare up at the painted sky,
thanking God for this moment,
spent laying side by side.
