You say you love me
You say you'll do anything
You say you won't hurt me
You lied about everything
You even lied to yourself
If you wouldn't hurt me
Why'd you do it?
You hurt me more then emotionally
You hurt me physically
You had me hiding
You had me crying
You made me afraid
Afraid of everyone and everything
I was afraid of being hurt again
So I never loved
I've hid myself from others
Afraid to show the real me
Afraid to trust
Always looking back

And knowing I never will
