Have you ever noticed
a butterfly's erratic flight
how its there one minute
and the next its flown
into the light
have you ever watched the sun set
how colorful it makes the sky
or have you bin that busy
it just rushed by
ever listened to the rain hitting the ground
or watched children having fun
on a merry go round
do you run threw each day
on the fly
asking how are you?
but never hearing a reply
ever watched an eagle fly across the moon
dipping and diving
or did you just say no
but i will soon
ever gazed at the sun into the fading night
or lost touch with a friend
because you never called to say hi
ever lay in your bed with the next
hundred things going threw you head
just remember life is to short
if you rush threw a day
you miss all the fun on the way
take life slower each day as it comes
take time to notice the little things
that make life so much fun
so don't go so fast
time is to short
and the music wont last
