Attention Seeking, if that's what you want to call it.

by Espoirfailed   Dec 30, 2006

Ignore her they say
She'll be fine
The scars on display
Aren't a sign
Of her state of mind
Or her pain
She's the kind
That complain
Just for attention
And the thought
It's a lack of comprehension.
Is never taught.

Look away,
The rope around her neck
It's not dismay
She's not a wreck
Just an act
Never doubt
Treat it as fact
But don't know what it's about.

Parents grieve,
Friends wonder
Can't believe
She's torn asunder.
She'll be fine, they repeat
It's all an act of desperation
She cried alone, so discreet
In a state of aberration.

They ignored her the day she told
Asked one of them just to listen
Let her hateful story unfold
Now her headstone will always glitter.
Because no one was there to care,
Still pretending she was faking,
Would it hurt just to have been there?
Left the world, so still, so shaking.

But it's only attention seeking
And at the funeral she loved,
Seeing everyone weeping,
As she cried, alone, above.

Wow, this gave me chills. A lot of people are attention seeking, while others are not. This spoke some sad truth, I loved it. It actually brought tears to my eyes, you`re very talented. ;]
