Yesterday's Sorrow

Yesterday's Sorrow

There's so many days
That seem messed up; distorted
Here you are again, caught in an awkward moment

You just got pregnant, you don't know the daddy
Your best friend just killed himself; he went rock-a-bye baby
Your sister's in the hospital confined to the bed-almost dead!

But yesterday's sorrow
Won't be here tomorrow
That is my answer true

And you may cry
As the minutes go by
But once again, what's old will be new

Yeah, you'll feel messed up and distorted
But all who cry will miss no appointments
With the ones who do need you

They might disappear
Never come back in years
But the love for them always grew

Sure, it's hard to smile
Blink back the tears
And welcome a new tomorrow

Sure, that tomorrow
Might feel like the worst
But it's better than yesterday's sorrow

You might not want to face
That joy got 2nd place
But one day, it'll all go away

Till then, remember that tomorrow
Will always be better than yesterday's sorrow
Moving on's sad, but not as bad... than if yesterday never ended

Remember to love
The future, not the past
Because, if you dwell on yesterday... time won't always last
