Picture the World

by Rahl The Layman Lord   Dec 30, 2006

Picture the world upon your shoulders,
Picture the weight of it,
The strain it causes you,
Picture all the people upon the world,
See all those you hold up.
Now ask yourself as you watch your blood flow,
As your hands begin to slip,
Coated with blood and sweat,
Ask yourself who is there to support you.
You...who holds the weight of the world,
It's not a difficult question,
Looking around you see that you are alone,
That there is no one else,
You realize this,
And you ask yourself the true question,
You ask why you hold up the world,
Why you withstand such pain,
Why you bleed for the world and the little people on it.
Again you realize the simplicity of the question,
You hold up the world...
Because you alone ask if the world is worth saving,
You bleed...not for the little people,
You strain...not for the little people,
It is all for you, and you alone.
You hold up the world so that you can live!
