Caged love

by Brook   Dec 31, 2006

Distance means everything
In this relationship;at our age
Our hearts holding each other back
Love being held in a cage

Impossible to know
Exactly what is wrong or right
This love we feel
For which we surely have to fight

Forbidden is so much sweeter than given
Hiding; sneaking away
Waiting for our time to come;
When all should be okay

Damage being done to hearts
Not able to be undone
It seems this game we played so well
We have not yet won

    Alright. You see, I was just going to read a random poem of yours so I could ask you to read one of mine.. that was the plan. But the first verse.. I've been in the exact same situation. EXACTLY. I started to read it, and it hit me hard how easy it was to understand. That was really really a good read.
