Someday

by keith Lagerquist   Dec 31, 2006

Someday death shall take us all.
Never knowing when or where,
it leaps upon us without care.
When a man's in love he cannot win,
for someday death shall take him too.
Ever watching, ever waiting,
until man's heart finds true love.
Once man finds eternal love;
Death stands there, two steps behind.
His shattered heart cannot be healed.
Man's trust in love forever lost.
Death and love are now combined.
No greater torture does there exist,
then someone living with a broken heart.
No greater pain does there exist,
like finding love, then finding death.
Death is known as a broken heart.
And someday death shall take us all.
