It Won't Be Long

by Travis   Dec 31, 2006

I hold you close to me,
Listen to your heart beat,
It beats quickly,
Is something wrong?

I smile at you,
You smile back,
I whisper to you,
"I love you."

You look into my eyes,
Pull me closer to you,
Softly touch my cheek,
And you say the same.

During this moment,
I want time to stop,
Want to stick with you,
And never let go.

But soon we must depart,
It won't be long though,
Before I can whisper,
"I love you" again.

Travis. Its a fair poem. Your view point was seen. Emotions were seen as well. But theres no... Nothing excactly new. It was based on a moment between you and that other person. But why does it mean so much to you? only because you love her? You should of added More words. give me something i can be WOWED!!!. you know? its not poor. but it aint that good either. Its fair. KEEP WRITING!.
