Betrayed

Voices screaming in my head.
Visions forming in my bed.
Memories that I must recall,
When breaking down the invisible wall.

Sudden movement in the shade.
Practice for an empty grave.
Wishes that may come true,
As I lie here thinking only of you.

License to do whatever you wish.
Devoured by a single kiss.
Consumed for only one desire,
Leaves me burning in eternal fire.

Damned for the basest thoughts.
Guilty but never caught.
Finished are the words for pain,
Which violate again and again.

Forgiven, but not by me.
Cloaked in what I cannot see.
Solitary I shall stay.
Alone once more I return to pray.
