Why does our friendship have to be so hard?
Is it because what I want with all my heart is already taken...
Ive known you longer, gotten to know you better, yet shes still the one you gave your heart to.
Throughout our friendship Ive given you my love and respect but most importantly my trust...
So why is it that I cant tell you how I feel...
Why do I choke on my words when they start to come out...
Is it because you are all I want but I know I can never have?
I care for you, more than you know, you are the greatest guy Ive ever known...
So why does our close relationship come with so many problems?
Are they all just jealous but dont want to face the truth?
Thats how I see it... they are just hating on what we have.
The hardest thing for me is to sit here next to you and patiently keep my tears from falling as you tell me how much she means to you and I hold my feelings close to my heart knowing they wont come true but never wanting to let go.
I just want you to know one thing, You are my best friend and no matter what you got my heart...
