Me and you.

by FlowerThatDied   Jan 1, 2007

Take a diamond,
In the rough,
Never knowing if it's enough,
Only risk,
Will prove its worthiness.
Only risk today.

Let me take your coat and hat,
Set yourself beside the cat,
Don't worry the fire's warm,
There's no reason to be on form.

Place your hand on my shoulder,
Release relief, break the boulder,
Don't worry, no not tonight,
Everything will be alright.

Lay me down on the bed,
Feel the passion, all silence dead,
Let me take you somewhere new,
Somewhere safe,
Just me and you.
