Shadows

I live in a room
its like it lives
like it has an own will
it sends me shadows
they whisper in my ears
like i should kill myself
like i should die

the shadows are dark
almost black
and when they come to me
i pretend i don't see
that they are here
like i can't hear them
but they drive me insane

there are no locked doors in my hallway
no windows barred
and everyone can walk around
at night
in the dark
just the way i like it

i wander in the dark hallways
and the shadows
they follow me everywhere
keep whispering things
things i don't want to hear
things i don't want to do
but i do what they say
without noticing it

when the guards see me
I'll be out
trapped in a place
a place without contact of the outer world
and no more writings
no more smiles
no more life...
cos then it ain't worth anything
its dead
