The final faerie

by Nina Star   Jan 2, 2007

My world is crashing down,

And I cant hold it on my sholders,

Its killing me simply because of weight.

Dead are its usual holders.

After our civil war.

Its the end of my race,

As i fairly know it,

I am the final faerie.

Its time for me to go now,

Its time to let it go.

Theres no-one else hear with me,

So its time I let it show.

What am I to do now,

Theres no-one else to help.

To help me get my way through.

Humans trialling debate.

Whenever they see me,

They try to squash me like a bug.

Or they hold me by my wings,

And give them a tug.

With my wings broken unable to fly

I am the final faerie,

The others fought so stupidly,

Look what the war has done to me.
