Darkest Hour

by SoulSymplicity   Jan 2, 2007

Ever woke up one morning and suddenly
the whole world turned their back on you.
You find that you are your own worst enemy
And you find that each human being
Looks at you like you are beneath them.
The color of your skin,
The color of your hair,
The way you look,
The way you talk or think.

It is your darkest hour
as you fall in the deepest pit.
Your chest suffocating, cant breath, cant move
You’re losing your air, you’re losing your sight.
Yet not one person held out a helping hand
Just looks at you as they watch you slowly die.
It’s like a bullet being released from a trigger
As it hits you directly in the heart.

Sharp pains travels through your body
Like a speed of light.
You yell out for help yet your voice is unheard of
Fading slowly in thin air
Not a sound to listen to
Just complete silence travels around you.
Cold tears falls from your eyes,
The valley of tears surrounds you.

It is your darkest hour
as you watch your life slowly end right before your eyes.
Yet everyone continues to live their life
Not knowing the sufferings that you are in.
Your life is in turmoil and great chaos.
Your heart torn, crushed into million pieces.
Your mind, body, and soul completely restless
From walking on this path.

It is your darkest hour
As you look one last time before shutting your eyes
Praying to God to wash away your sins.
To forgive you for your mistakes
Hoping and wishing your life would just end completely
So you would not have to feel anymore pain.
