You think my life is perfect,
or atleast that's what they say.
Well here's a little slice of my life,
let me know if you wanna live this way.
Don't even think you know me,
because you know my name.
Don't think that we can be friends,
because you're convinced we're the same.
You tell me your life is easy,
when you've been accused of smoking weed.
As the people who have heard the rumors,
think that it's just what you need.
You think you've got it hard,
wait until your best friend tells you he was abused, as a 10 year old boy,
by the father of his little sister,
his life and pride and joy.
Tell me that I have it easy,
when I've been in a crowded room and feel alone,
as I lay in bed at night,
wishing you'd come back home.
You wouldn't know what it's like,
to have the one person who feels right,
be taken away from you,
due to one little fight.
I don't even get it,
I'll never understand,
how you could stand infront of me,
and pretend to be my friend.
I've got all I could want,
a best friend that I adore.
He may have some scars,
but that makes me love him even more.
So if you think my life is easy,
go ahead think that's true.
But remember, I'm not one
to judge people, as are you.
